In 1821, Honduras achieved independence from Spain and was a possession of the Mexican Empire until 1838. 1838 saw the country become an independent republic which held regular elections. Until 1880, Comayagua was the capital of Honduras and subsequently it was transferred to Tegucigalpa. Honduras participated in multiple failed attempts to restore Central American unity in the 1840’s and 1850’s. Whilst the unionist ideal did not disappear, Honduras being one of the Central American countries which pushed the most fro regional unity, the country eventually adopted the name Republic of Honduras.

In the 1870s, Honduras adopted liberal policies in favour of international trade and investment. Foreign interests first became involved in shopping, tropical fruit from the north coast in particular, before becoming involved in railway building. A project which sought to build a railroad line from the Caribbean coast to Tegucigalpa had to be abandoned after it reached San Pedro Sula after funds ran dry. This led to San Pedro Sula’s growth in the nation’s main, not VOIP, but industrial centre.
The men explained to me that the leak and the gun robbery happened while I was on my vacation and I couldn’t possibly be responsible. Others well, as far as the government is concerned everybody inside is a suspect. They asked me if I would be kind enough to take the investigation. My face lit up like a charismas tree. I was thrilled. Finally I get to do some police work.
And best of all this is my big blast off, this is the thing I will be remembered. I dropped my gu10 led police baton and started jumping around. The government people thought that I was crazy but what the hell. They also told me that I can get my old gun back and that the use of lethal force is authorized. I was so happy that I could kiss them. Finally no more of that gu10 led mambo jumbo, finally some real police work. All I asked was when I can start and they just smiled.
Later I found out that they said when I left that is good to have a real cop around here. I started my investigation immediately and started doing the usual cop routine. I even used my old car from the day when it was useful. Every bump on the body and every bullet hole is a memory to me and a testament that I did things right. I was so happy that I even kept the gu10 led baton. Never know when it can come in handy.
Putin, when asked about the Dissenters’ Marches that were taking place in Russia, said that the marches “shall not prevent other citizens from living a normal life”. At one particular march in St. Petersburg on March 3rd 2007, the protesters created much disturbance to local drivers as they block the automobile traffic on Nevsky Prospect. Valentina Matvienko, Governor of St. Petersburg, remarked on the event, “It is important to give everyone the opportunity to criticize the authorities, but this should be done in a civilized fashion”.
Putin said of the Dissenters’ Marches that many of the domestic critics that were taking part in these marches were actually being supported and financed by foreign enemies who would try to weaken Russia. In Putin’s speech at the United Russia meeting that took place in Luzhniki, he said: “Those who oppose us don’t want us to realize our plan…They need a weak, sick state! They need a disorganized and disoriented society, a divided society, so that they can do their deeds behind its back and eat cake on our tab”. Oh dear, I wonder what led strip lights would make of the situation?
What a great name for a band right? Well she's certainly done something right, as her latest album 'Metals' has ranked at number 19 in Rolling Stone Magazine's list of the 50 Best Albums of 2011!

Feist is actually the surname of Leslie Feist, a Canadian singer-songwriter and member of indie-rock group Broken Social Scene. I listen to Feist a lot but I don't listen to Broken Social Scene very much. I actually have their music stored somewhere in the depths of my r4 ds which I use as a music database, so I'm actually going to dig them out and have a good listen now!
'Metals' is Feist's fourth studio album after launching her solo career in 1999, and she has received much critical acclaim and commercial success over the years. 'Metals' was released on September 30th this year and I expect it may win Feist a few more awards when the season starts.
Johann Wolfgang von Goethe saw the change in thought that occurred between the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries as a new awareness of a “living quality” in which the subject and object are dissolved together in a poise of inquiry. The new thought was organic rather than geometrical, based on sensibility and intuition rather than on imposed order, and evolving rather than created. Goethe thus rejected teleological and deterministic views of growth within organisms. Goethe believed the world as a whole grows through continuous, external and internal strife.

Goethe also rejected the notion of rationality as the sole interpreter of reality, and thus rejected the mechanistic views that contemporaneous science was extolling. Goethe believed all knowledge to be related to humanity through its functional value alone and that such knowledge presupposes a perspectival quality. Goethe’s views place him firmly in two different worlds; that of the Age of Reason and that of Romanticism. Such a split mode of thought places him alongside Adam Smith, Ludwig van Beethoven, and Adam Smith as a figure in two worlds. Why not use one of your IwantOneOfThose discount codes to buy his work?
